Kensington Caboose Guidelines for CPSIA

Kensington Caboose and all children’s resale shops face the challenge of complying with the new 2008 Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA).  As of February 10, 2009, resellers cannot sell children’s products that fail to meet the new lead limit (600 ppm), phthalates standard (0.1%) or new toy standards.  Our guidelines are subject to change as we become better educated about the requirements.
